What fiction do we create when we remember? We become guests in our own stories. Who are we when we remember and how are these narratives changed when we uncontrollably and almost forcefully visit them? In the series of work called: “When Memory Enters, a Midwife as a Metaphor (The Pretense of Presence)” the foundation of self, based on memories as a set or given construct, is investigated.
